How can we help?

Last updated July 25, 2026

Email us at support@faithalarm.io. We read everything and aim to reply within two business days. Telling us your device and iOS or Android version helps us answer faster.

Alarms and notifications

My alarm didn't go off

Faith Alarm uses your device's local notifications, so notification permission must be granted. On iOS, check Settings → Notifications → Faith Alarm and make sure Allow Notifications is on. On Android, check Settings → Apps → Faith Alarm → Notifications.

Battery optimisation can also delay or suppress scheduled notifications, particularly on Android. If alarms arrive late, exclude Faith Alarm from battery optimisation in your system settings.

Do alarms work without an internet connection?

Yes. Alarms are scheduled on your device and the devotional content is stored on your phone, so a practice reads normally with no signal at all.

I travelled and my alarm time looks wrong

Faith Alarm reads your device's time zone and reschedules your alarms to keep them at the same local time. If a time still looks wrong, open the app once after arriving so it can pick up the change.

Subscriptions

How do I restore a purchase?

Tap Restore purchase on the subscription screen, or open Settings and tap Restore purchase. Make sure you are signed in with the same App Store or Google Play account you originally purchased with — subscriptions are tied to that store account, not to Faith Alarm.

How do I cancel?

Subscriptions are managed by the store, not by us. On iOS, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Faith Alarm Pro. On Android, open the Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

I was charged but the app still shows the free tier

Try Restore purchase first — that is usually all it takes. If it still shows as free, email us and include the store receipt, and we will sort it out.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple and Google, since they process the payment. See our refund terms for the details of how to request one.

Your journal and data

Where are my journal entries stored?

On your device, and nowhere else. Faith Alarm has no accounts and no server of its own, so we cannot read your journal — and we cannot recover it for you. See the privacy policy for the full picture.

Will my journal move to a new phone?

Not on its own. Because entries live only on your device, they do not sync between devices. Deleting the app, or losing or resetting your phone, permanently removes them.

How do I delete my data?

Uninstalling Faith Alarm deletes everything it stored: your name, alarms, practices, journal entries, streaks, and favorites.

Still stuck?

Email support@faithalarm.io and tell us what happened, what you expected, and which device you are on. If it is something we broke, we would genuinely like to know.
