What it is

An alarm that opens into prayer, not a snooze button.

Faith Alarm replaces the two moments that bookend your day. The morning alarm wakes you into scripture. The night alarm settles you into rest. Each one leads into the same short practice — about four minutes — and then gets out of the way.

Two alarms, not twenty

One in the morning, one at night. Set the times, toggle either off, or skip a single day without losing your place.

The app follows the sun

Faith Alarm carries two paired themes. Dawn — warm parchment and soft gold — runs from 6am. Vespers — deep navy and candlelight — takes over in the evening. It changes on its own.

No account to make

There is no sign-up, no password, and no server holding your journal. Your practice lives on your phone and works offline.

Morning & night

Two thresholds a day.

Morning

A new mercy. Begin with prayer? The alarm opens a passage chosen for the morning, a short reflection, a prayer, and a place to write.

Good morning Begin the day with prayer.

Night

Be still. End the day in peace? The night practice draws from passages written for rest, and asks what you are carrying into sleep.

Good evening Take a moment to pray before rest.

Alarms are scheduled on your phone and repeat daily. If you travel, Faith Alarm notices the timezone change and re-schedules both alarms to the same local time.

The practice · about four minutes

Four movements, morning and night.

Every practice runs the same four steps. You can step back at any point, and the last step is always optional.

  1. Scripture

A passage with its reference and translation, set large enough to read slowly.

“In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.”

  2. Reflection

One question about the passage. Short enough to actually answer.

“Where did I see God today? Is there anything I need to release?”

  3. Prayer

A written prayer and a circle that expands and contracts. Breathe with the circle.

  4. Journal

Optional. Write a line or leave it blank — either way the practice completes.

“What are you carrying into rest?”

Library

Scripture & prayer, kept where you can find it.

Every passage the practices draw from is browsable on its own. Search by scripture, topic, or prayer; filter by morning or night; keep the ones you return to.

  • Search across passages, reflections, and prayers.
  • Favorite anything, and filter down to just those.
  • Save for offline — the library is already on your phone, so it reads with no signal at all.
  • Each entry carries its reflection and prayer, not just the verse.

Seasonal & topical

For the seasons, and for the hard weeks.

Beyond the daily rhythm, the library carries passages gathered by season and by circumstance — for Lent and Advent, and for the weeks when the thing you need words for is anxiety, or marriage, or grief.

Lent Advent Anxiety Marriage Grief Gratitude Courage

Seasonal and topical entries are part of Faith Alarm Pro. The daily morning and night practices are free.

Rhythm & journal

Carry your rhythm forward.

Faith Alarm keeps count so you don't have to — and it is built to forgive a missed day rather than punish it.

Streaks that hold four counts

A daily streak, a morning streak, a night streak, and a full-day streak that only moves when you complete both practices in one day. Each one keeps its longest run alongside its current one, next to a weekly rhythm score.

Miss a day and a grace day covers it instead of resetting you to zero — one a week on the free plan, three a week with Pro.

A quiet record

Anything you write during a practice lands in the journal, dated and marked morning or night. Nothing is scored or shared. The free plan keeps the last 30 days; Pro keeps everything.

Milestones unlock along the way — your first morning, your first night, then 3, 7, 14, 30, 40, 90, and 365 days of rhythm.

On your phone

Your journal never leaves your device.

Faith Alarm stores your name, alarm times, practices, journal entries, streaks, and favorites in a database on your phone. There is no account, no cloud sync, and no analytics service watching what you read or write. Purchases are handled by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat; nothing else is transmitted anywhere.
